🔥 How I Missed My Shot at Baseball

I wanted to be great

I’d dream of MLB and being the next Pedro Martinez

And looking back I did have a good work ethic

The problem was I didn’t know WHAT to work at

So I did physical therapy “workouts” that wouldn’t challenge an 82 year old, ran endless poles, and did all the latest greatest mechanical “fixes” and “special drills”

I got exactly what I trained for: I was weak, slow twitch dominant, painfully skinny at 135lbs, and throwing 78 poo with CONSTANT arm pain

It wasn’t until college that I started TRYING to “get big” (not even for baseball, but to try and impress girls), that finally things changed

Even knowing 1/1000th of what I know now, my strength and size shot up, and my fastball velo exploded with it

If I’d have had that transformation in high school instead of too little too late in college, I would’ve had a chance at the sport

Baseball: Many are called. Few are chosen
