How to Increase Your Speed

There’s only two ways to get faster:


  1. Increase stride length

  2. Increase stride frequency


Everything else is just social media marketing


Increasing stride length, and increasing stride frequency however, are both BYPRODUCTS of sprinting faster.

Meaning for example you can’t just TELL an athlete to take bigger strides, because if they’re not physically capable of increasing their stride length, they’ll end up overstriding and actually be slower.

In order to improve speed then, it comes down to 3 things:


  1. Apply more mass specific force into the ground

  2. In the proper bio-mechanical positions

  3. In ever decreasing increments of time



Speed is a skill, it can be trained!
