šŸ”„ From Stuck To Gas: How Dylan Exploded to Mid 90’s Velo!!

5’9ā€ and THUMPING: from stuck 79-82 for 3 YEARS before starting, to now touching mid 90’s ā›½ļøā›½ļøā›½ļø15 months later!!

The 3 things that exploded his velo:

1ļøāƒ£ He gained weight and strength

Many pitchers simply don’t know how to go about a nutrition plan or training that WORKS. Fixing his diet and raising his strength allowed him to gain 30lbs of lean muscle in 15 months: F= MxA, and a bigger version of YOU will throw 5oz harder than YOU used to throw it!

2ļøāƒ£ His mindset shifted

When he started he would make a lot of excuses about his eating and his daily habits. I told him what needed to change was his MIND: he had to see himself as someone who could become great, not as his current self who made excuses and was stuck 79-82. Once his self image improved, he stopped making excuses, and began making gains. If you want your life to shift, your mind has to shift!

3ļøāƒ£ He started a throwing program built for HIM

Like so many pitchers he’d been stuck in the endless cycle of camps, showcases, and tournaments, hoping someone somewhere would recruit him. We had to explain to him the reason he wasn’t recruited wasn’t lack of ā€œexposureā€- the reason was he was throwing 81. With a high school arm, no COLLEGE was going to want him. What he needed was a dedicated period of building velocity. We built a throwing plan that accounted for his specific strengths and weaknesses, and with his size and strength gains, he hit steady PR’s throughout each new throwing block!
